What range should a test measure?
Your buyer’s: their journey, at their speed, in the day’s temperature. Ask for at least one summer and one winter reading, each with its date, average speed and battery at both ends.
Is a one-week test enough?
For a first ride, yes. For range, no: a week only knows one kind of weather. A long-term test follows the bike from one season to the next, and the contract sets the date of each publication.
